Anne Chezar-Garnett, R.N., C.N.M.
Certified Nurse Midwife
Anne Chezar-Garnett began her Nurse Midwifery Career nearly 25 years ago after 6 six years of being an RN in the Maternal Child Health areas of the Hospital
She has worked for 25 years as a Certified Nurse Midwife in Ventura County in private practice.
Her favorite part of the “job” is giving the unexpected; Giving more time, more interest and more compassion than what a woman expects from her annual exam.
Most of her patients have been seeing her for years, referring family members, friends, and co-workers.
Being solidly rooted in evidence-based medicine, she also knows there are non-medicinal approaches that are appropriate for a lot of women.
Preventative care for women is one the primary objectives to her annual exams. Anne understands that all women need to feel comfortable during their annual exam and should look forward to it instead of postponing and dreading the visit.
She has lived in Ventura since 1980, is married to Cliff with three adult “children”, 2 dogs and 1 cat.
Anne has stepped away from offering delivery care and is now primarily focused on providing exceptional in-office care.
